The Killer Manatee Christmas Special Dream

It’s Christmas time at First Assembly which of course means lots of people, things to do, and food to eat.  I’m strolling through the sanctuary and decide to visit my good friend Kasey who is outside the nursery.  I then head back down the hallway on my way to class (apparently I go to school at First Assembly now).  I get to my class and there are a bunch of us in there and we are playing Christmas bingo.  The professor, who happens to be professor Arzt from LOST, is up there calling out the places on the card and I get bingo.

I’m telling him what I have when all the sudden he starts going off on how irresponsible Jessie is.  I am so taken aback that he would talk about her like that in front of the whole class.  So I go off on him and tell him how unprofessional that is for him to be talking about her like that in front of everyone and if he has a problem with her he should settle it with her (even in my dreams it’s been engrained in my head to resolve conflict Biblically).  We are arguing pretty heatedly and I finally make him so mad that he literally stomps to the back of the room and then runs out.  We consider class over and I’m determined not to come back to his class so I grab my pictures off the bulletin board.

As I’m walking back down the hall to try and find someone of the pastoral nature to tell them what just happened, I pass by a classroom with infants and toddlers.  One of the toddlers is choking so I go in and realize they have it under control.  I go back out in the hall and I see my friend Codi.  We are now walking through a clothing store.  The clothes are really cute but everything is Nintendo themed.  So sweaters have Yoshis on them and shirts are embroidered with Mario.  I express my distaste for how the characters totally ruin the clothing and so we leave.

I’m back at the church and me and a bunch of friends decide to go to the pool.  So we hop in a car and go.  Rachel Stafford is in the front seat and Clay Woods is in the back with me and a few other people.  When we get there I’m the first one to jump in and when I plunge underwater I notice there is a manatee right beside me.  As everyone knows dream-manatees are very dangerous and no longer herbivores but ferocious human eating beasts.  So I naturally alert those nearby to quickly pull me out before the manatee gnaws off my leg.  As they’re pulling me out he grabs my leg with his gums (apparently he gums his victims to death).  They yank me out and we decide to leave.

We’re driving down the road and we see up ahead there is a man lying across the street.  We stop and I get out and ask the man who is standing nearby if the man lying in the street is okay.  He says he doesn’t know.  So I go over the man to check on him.  He is unconscious so I shake him to see if he will wake up.  He does and is very confused.  Then he sees the man that was standing nearby and pulls out a gun.  I ask the now conscious man to not shoot the other man.  I tell the other man to leave and he would get a head start from the police, whom I was obviously going to call.  The man leaves and the now conscious man puts away the gun.

He wants to know why all these people are standing around and I tell him they were worried about him.  There is a strange looking woman there and she also has a gun, but she puts it away quickly when she notices I’ve seen it.  The man wants to talk to someone besides me so I go and get Clay (I guess cause he’s a guy?) and while they’re talking I try to yet again reach a pastoral type and yet again receive no answer.  The closest I can get is Michael Richardson and he and Tiffany are on their way out of town.  And there, as abruptly as most dreams end, my dream ceases.  The end.
